Not necessarily. Depending on the graph, you can have the active target connected at the helm and use a network cable to have the graph at the bow talk go the graph at the helm. That's how mine are setup for FFS.

I think 6 rods is the sweet spot. You can probably get away with 8, but it's pushing it. I would consult with your boater and see what they're okay with. Personally, I would keep as many ready-to-go setups as possible. The more time you spend swapping reels and relining, the less time you have line in the water to catch fish.

Most local is the Winter Haven Chain. But I'm an hour from Kissimmee and Harris Chains. Three hours from Okeechobee
