Caught some decent fish this weekend but when it gets tough the scenery is nice to enjoy and do some exploring!

Potholes changes so much when I go next I’ll take another round of pictures. Right now waters high so a lot of islands and stuff is covered they are starting to irrigate the crops so water will drop in a month the place will look so different. Something crazy out there too is the seagull mating season so many looks like snow or ice on the water.

Something I don’t use much of but I’m gonna force my self to fish more is spinner baits. I fish a lot of chatterbaits, I know they all have their place. So my question is what’s everyone’s favorite spinner bait to use and color if you have a specific one?

Last year caught these 2 back to back on a fire tiger 6th sense quake trap bait. Good old slime rockets or also known as lure snatchers so many times bitten off. Both of these fish over 35”s a lot of our lakes are stocked with tiger muskie to control the carp population. They sure put up one hell of a fight too

Here’s a good ol PNW smallie. Not quite time for us to fish yet so I’m stuck looking back on my catches from last season. Something I don’t hear a lot of people fish anymore with forward facing sonar craze is the tube. With the tube head just slightly back from being fully inserted giving it that spiral fall. One of my favorite baits the tube has produced a lot of good fish for me. Anyone else fish a lot of tubes?

Little late but I’ll put it out there before it’s to late 🤣. I am writing to express my interest in the angler development program as a co-angler. It would a incredible achievement and opportunity to fish as a co-angler in the angler development program. I would not only have the chance to enhance my skills but also continue learning, receiving valuable information, and growing as a angler , all while representing the SUF school.
This program would allow me explore different parts of the country and discover new bodies of water. I would have the privilege of sharing my experience and share why fishing is such a captivating sport with others. Participating in this would be a extraordinary experience, as it provides me with a experience I normally would not have.
I’m greatful for B-Lat’s initiative in creating this program and offering someone the chance to experience and pursue a dream that other wise might be unttainable. Having a new family it’s hard to come up with the financial resources to pursue this dream on my own. I’m thankful for B-Lat’s generosity and providing this opportunity to those who are passionate about fishing.
Good luck and best wishes to everyone who put their name out there for this incredible opportunity. May you continue to grind, learn, and embrace this wonderful sport of fishing. It’s a sport that brings joy, relaxation, and a sense of connection with nature. Chosen or not greatful to be here with people that share the same drive and passion about the sport as me. Greatful to meet all you and continuing the learning and getting better each time I go out.
