First river bass ever. I was about to give river fishing up because I’ve fished the Cumberland River over a year with no bites at all. Does anymore want to share any insight about success and struggles you have had with rivers?

Definitely a first aid kit, a little battery jumper box,Spot light and please give this next one some serious thought. You might want to consider staying away from TREBLE HOOKS they are dangerous at night with limited light and a trashing fish! Green NEBO LIGHTS are sweet! Fish the outside of the light and hang on because all kinds of species show up. 4 to 10ft has been working for me. Take it easy and don’t get in a hurry and dim your graphs way down. Have fun, be safe and keep us posted on how you do.

Mean mouth. For some apparent reason I catch them a lot at night. Very strong fish.
