1st night fishing session this year. It was better than I expected. I lost more fish than I landed in the boat, most were lost on fight and I had numerous break offs. I would like to share a little something with my SUF family. I’ve had 2 strokes and fishing has been my main therapy due to all the fine motor skills it takes just to tie a knot, reel and even casting. I moved my spinning reel handle to the left side like my neurologist advised me to do and things have been starting to wake back up. Now if I lose many more fish that reel is going BACK TO THE RIGHT 🤣

I think it’s time to go night fishing. It’s getting pretty wild on the lakes, wake boats, cruisers and jet skis all running less than 100 feet from boats! Seen a lot of people get tickets today for reckless behavior.

Since the SUF Retreat I’ve fished the Shaky Head almost exclusively and I have come to appreciate how good it works.

First full day of fishing after heart surgery. It was truly a blessing to be back out on the water!
