Baits used MR6 crank bait and a Zoom speed worm 6 to 8 ft of water with one second pauses on retrieving.

My wife asked me this morning if I was going fishing after work and I said probably not. I get home from work a she says PUY IT IN GEAR LETS GO🤣 slid into the grass and caught my new PB 6.1 younder. Ended up with 8 bites 5 lost and 3 in the boat.

I tried to end this Younder Classic with a BANG!! 3 in the boat but I lost more than I could count… Hey that’s fishing right 😩

I only made three cast and got these two fish right off the bat and 2 more baby dinks afterwards. Not to bad for 2 hours of fishing after work.

First river bass ever. I was about to give river fishing up because I’ve fished the Cumberland River over a year with no bites at all. Does anymore want to share any insight about success and struggles you have had with rivers?
