SUF family I got a question for you? What type of bites are you getting but you can not get use to the feel of it? I can't get use to the bite when the line goes supper lite. Fish be swimming back to the boat and spitting it on the deck talking about you hey! Is this your bait lol.

Got them on a chatter bait. I started with my big no no's for night fishing a MR6 and a trap and didn't get any bites.

Baits used MR6 crank bait and a Zoom speed worm 6 to 8 ft of water with one second pauses on retrieving.

Maybe the crank bait wasn’t working for you because that’s not what the fish were wanting at that time and they wanted something more subtle. Take what you learned from that experience and keep it in your head for next time. Keep giving them something different and when you get bites run with that till they want something different that just my experience maybe someone else will chime in on this as well. Keep at at it!
