It varies person to person and there needs but if your a serious angler 150-250 is the sweet spot in my opinion I’m not saying there isn’t good rods under or above that but that’s to me is the rang of the best value for dollar

100% it’s a confidence bait for me in my experience swim jigs may not get bit as often compared to something like a drop shot or wacky rig but the bite is bigger on average and most of my biggest fish were caught on a swim jig
