Am I just a wuss but for some reason I’m nervous to fish super big lakes the biggest lake I have fished is right around a thousand acres any advice for tackling big bodies of water? I’m a fairly experienced boater just for some reason am intimidated by those huge lakes for example I live a block away from Lake Michigan and have never taken a boat out there

Did I mess up getting this unit to me it has all the features I need anything I should know? Thanks fairly new to electronics
