I know it’s getting repetitive…but these smallmouth won’t quit!

Caught this one on a 1/2 oz structure jig with a Z-man Pro Crawz trailer.

As we move further into the colder months of the year, don’t forget that your kayak can do more than just “stealth” and “get to the places big boats can’t”.

This is from last December, the day after Christmas. I sat out on this Kentucky Lake main lake point getting pounded by the wind and waves and chucking this A-rig as far as I could.

Caught two 20+ inch smallmouth, an 18 inch smallmouth, and more striper than I can count. One of my favorite days ever on the water!

Anyone fishing the KBF National Championship this week on Guntersville?

Decided to run up a creek the other day to try getting away from all the boat traffic. At some points we were in 2-3 inches of water and walking while pulling our kayaks behind us. Made a long cast down a stretch of the creek that was maybe 10 feet wide into a pocket of crystal clear water that was 3 or 4 feet deep and pulled this 17 3/4 inch smallie out!!

Took my 13 yr old out on Lake Erie this afternoon to the same spot I caught my smallie on yesterday morning and he caught his first bass!!
