Hey guys!

I’m looking to make a switch on rod manufacturer. B. Lat, I know you’re with Level Rods and have seen and read good things. Looking for recommendations for some of my favorite tactics in my home lake to start out with. I’d say, froggin, flippin and trappin run the most, but im going to start exploring more lakes and areas to fish n Middle NC and, I fish the salt.

- frog fishing

- flipping up to 1oz

- trappin’

- chatterbait up to 1/2 oz

- paddle tails up to 6” (1/2oz jig heads or under belly weight max)

- spinner sit/buzzbait

- light Texas rig with 4-6” stick baits

These are just some of the most successful baits I use in my home body and I’m sure some of these techniques could be interchangeable on the same rod.

Had bad luck with Ketch(my experience). Had 2, both broke or cracked super quick. I just got the yak attack one and I’m impressed. Thick plastic, very clear numbers and also has adjustable slides to help be more precise. Also has a mirror on the bump end to show the fish is truly up against the end.

I’d recommend that one for sure

SUF yonder classic was good to me overall. Hard to compete with these boys! Think I ended up 3rd overall for best 5. Had some missed opportunities, but don’t think I would have caught up in the end. 109.50” isn’t too bad for this coastal fisherman💪🏽

Thanks, B.Lat!
