I also went the Carolina rig way on Sunday and was also successful espically after the few minutes of rod technique instruction and the use of a offset hook instead of a EWG

Had a great time this week meeting everyone at the retreat so glad I got out of going to that wedding. Also got a lot of awareness from Brian’s lesson. I had developed a bad habit with rod position on my Carolina rig fishing as well as becoming preoccupied with other things and not paying attention to boat position on contour lines and blowing up my own spots. Took information and today and had a great day caught 8 on Carolina rig and had a few on a Ned ring and a few on shakey head most small but a few were okay.

Thanks again. The rod position part of the class should be repeated if possible and maybe take on a few others
