Had our “club classic” this past weekend. It is my first year tournament fishing and I’m fishing as a CO-Angler.
The lake we fish here in our state is highly pressured and to be honest I haven’t fished here since I was about 11 years old. It was a tough weekend. Guys in our club that are way better sticks then I am, fish that lake often caught goose eggs both days.
Long story short, I came in first with a whopping 6.75 lbs! 🎣🥇🏆💰

This is my niece Ellie. She is 6 and this was her first time to ever go fishing with us.
My brother took her to Academy sports bought her a little profishency pink pole and she not only caught her first fish, she caught the MOST fish and the BIGGEST fish.
She by herself bank flipped a 3.34 pound bass on that little pole. It was epic! lol
I asked her “ Ellie, do you like to fish?”
She said “ uncle Jay, I don’t like to fish, I LOOOOVE fishing! She kicked all our basses that day! lol #shesgoingpro

Every year for the past few years, we get up early on Father’s Day and spend a little time pond hopping a large neighborhood in our area. It is a tradition that I look forward to every year. This was the first year, my youngest nephew, (who is absolutely obsessed with Fishing) got to join us.
This is what it’s about! All though there weren’t many big ones caught, as a matter of fact, the biggest one was 3 pounds, they are memories that will Last lifetime.
The older I get the more great memories I want to leave behind.
