Living in Virginia I’ve learned to be patient and wait for the season to truly come in. We’ve had some really warm Jan days where I thought it okay to go out on my neighborhood lake “CHESDIN.” I was wrong. The temps where in the teens that week, I had never gone out until around end of March early April. We don’t get a nibble. It was to cold to troll around in the deep to find them so we gave up and called the day. I hate you guys in Florida with you kayaks.

When you say winter fishing does this apply to certain states because I went out on a “Warmer” day in January and stunk up the lake. I reside in Virginia. Any help is welcome.
