How far did he fly when you set the hook?

And looking on Google maps you can see the trees on the bottom that would give some protection and the distinct line from Shallow to deeper water. Did you catch her on the line where it drops off and can't see bottom?

Looks like there are trees in that area and looks like a quick drop in depth. Cover, and easy access to 8+ ft of water.

Just got home from a trip to Bitters restocking some soft plastics. If we do link up to fish we should hit Toho for sure, I have over 50 years on that lake and may have some good insight for you.

As soon as the SMH heads and plastics get here I plan on hitting a local lake that Has been a thorn in my side forever, East Lake Toho, with nothing but Shaky head, Carolina, and assorted jigs. Force myself to learn new tactics and not rely on what I have done for 50 plus years. Old dog learning some new tricks. went to my candy store this morning and loaded up on a few things to go along with the Z-Man stuff I already ordered. Z man needs to add a color close to TOHO to their lineup of ElaZtech.

Ray Brunetti sent you his contact info in a DM

Ray Brunetti also next month the local high school team has an event on Lake conlin formerly known as Mercury Marines proving grounds X and they are searching for captains for one day the junior division. If that's something you think you may like to do to get on to a lake that has ultra limited access no mapping let me know and I will get you the number to get in touch with the guy that's in charge.

I will for sure, when I am not up in Georgia Fishing the reservoirs. I've got 100 acres about 30 miles east of Columbus with an old hunting camp on it that I stay at when I fish in that area. Eufaula, West Point, and this year I hope to venture over into Alabama. The fishing there is much different than what I fished down here for over 50 years.
