The high school kids are from our local club for Highschoolers, we use this event to introduce the middle schoolers to the program, in a format that they will know what to expect when they get to High School and decide to join. Was a fun time for sure.

Brian Latimer Rule 3. Fish public US waters only, The tournaments I am in this weekend are on Mercury's Lake X, Not a public lake. LOL, And the lake is only 3.2 miles from my house. Hope boat numbers are assigned by shortest distance.

Kevin Skovenski We have had them here in Florida for a long time, As a teen we would go to the lakefront at night, sit under a streetlight on the seawall and fish all night and never have to get up for more bait, or lay out a white sheet and fill coffee cans with them, a hundred a night, and sell them to the commercial catfishers and I would always keep 10 cans in the freezer for bait all year.. This season the hatch is greater than I have seen in a long time. Even the Bass are blowing them up, Just another food source that is added to the equation.

Luis Liogier-Weyback Most I have spoken to are very receptive, It is not like it was in the 70s when everyone was fishing, Now most fish wherever they can, as it is not an important thing like it is to some of us. Just be respectful, emphasis on how you will keep the area clean of your garbage, and even that you will pick up any other trash you see.
