Caught a 4.5lb slimy cat on a shaky head in 20ft.  No bass today. 😔. Still a good day on the water! 😀

Santa Ana winds kept me off the water today. The winds broke the docks at the launch ramp so it was closed at Silverwood lake. Gust 25-30 mph. Probably not good idea in a Jon boat. Winds should subside by Sun.

Good day! Caught two largemouth; one on a plopper and the other on a Ned rig. Not sure my pics will pass though. I see why a good bump board matters.

Good day and lessons learned. Landed a striper but destroyed my new B. Lat. Also first time using a bump board, posted for feeback.

Another day in the lab. Didn't land anything but another day learning. Stained water at 77.5 degrees on a highly pressured lake. Started with a topwater popper, threw chatterbait, wacky and swim jig with paddle tail trailer. From some reason, the app won't let me upload a video.

Trying to learn to do some lake research. Any app for iphone that anyone would suggest. For example I was looking a i-boating fishing app. Looking for something that will give topography etc. Also the windy.app is another one I have seen.

Went out last Sat at Silverwood Lake- SoCal on my float tube. Hell of a work out! Skunked. I had a power set up (30lb braid to 15lb fluro with a chatterbait tied on)and finesse set up (10lb braid 10lb fluro leader with wacky rig). I was throwing both around lay downs you see here. Water was warm at 75 degrees. Oh lots of eurasian watermilfoil and some algae . Maybe I should have gone deeper and slower? Still fun being back on the water!
