Boat registration tomorrow. Figured I’d ‘beat the bank’ as Dodson says. This is one of those WTH moments on the Tamiami Trail.
Caught some dinks and 1 good one.
It seems most of the bites were in shaded areas near where the banks drop sharply. At least in north Florida.
Did I mention it’s friggin hot
Had motor problems at the dock this morning in 90+ degree FL temps. Instead of turning around and heading home I said I was going to go get what I came for. So I parked the boat and went bank fishing.

Bronco bug on a free rig was the ticket this morning .
Fished a cooling pond this weekend at our local power plant, had a mixed bag of bass, did catch one decent smallie, one catfish, and 4 or 5 of these drum. Kind of a fun bite!
Went fishing on the Potomac River today and somehow entered the town of “ Dinksville” as every fish was under 14 inches.
Good day today caught a total of 49 fish, 38 of them came on the sissy stick using Texas rigged drop shot with smh worm . others were on frog,glide,jig.
