Just joined yesterday, love this place already. Caught this on Clark’s hill a couple of weeks ago for big bass and 7th place finish in the GaBASSnation kayak series. Look forward to learning.
Got my “fluke”on today. Twitching it through the grass and letting it sink near a laydown worked today at my local reservoir. Best one was 17 1/2 inches.
Got on a lipless bite! That was exciting, 58F was the water temp and the pattern for today was all my catches where at the end of docks.
Fished Kerr Reservoir ( Buggs Island) for my club tournament and finished 5th. I caught all my fish on a nail weighted fluke. You had to let it sink and watch the line as you twitch it. Surprising how light the bite can be.
Had the chance to hop in a local tourney today with my good friend. After a very epic day on the water, we emerged victorious with our bag weighin in at around 25lbs along with a Big Fish 👑. 8/6/6/3/2
A couple of fish; more importantly, I am not bundled up for winter. Spring may have sprung. :-)
