Bass

Lake Sinclair, Milledgeville, Ga..

They're drawing down the lake right now, lowest it'll be in 5 years... drawing it down 6 or 7' for dock maintenance... wondering where the fish will be ...

I'm southeast....Georgia... but I will be in-between the ramp and the house.... so don't choose me...but I'll be listening..

I've been catching them there by throwing buzzbaits and chatterbaits around the docks, and skipping wacky's under, deep under, the docks, came up on this grass, which there's not really much of on the lake so I figured there HAD to be bass in it.. I caught 8 or 9, lost 4 that day, fishing docks.. didn't get a bite when I fished the grass..

Ok... I haven't tried a stick bait there, I'll try that this weekend when I go back.. I was focusing more on throwing baits along the outside edge..when I go back, I'll get on up in there.. Thanks Mark.

It's about 4' deep on the edge of the grass, in a pocket right off the main lake.. I tried a buzzbait, then tried a chatterbait... didn't catch anything.. didn't know if I should try flipping something up in there or if it's just too thick for that... might have just been a time of day thing..

Wow.. I'm a kayak guy and I even like that one..! lol

Dang it.. I'm always missing the lives... I'm gonna start setting an alarm for them..

And yes, you know my river pretty good.. its low and clear right now, and that's where I've been catching them... Went to lake Oconee the next day and only caught 9 nice ones, lost 3 or 4..
