I have one, have caught a couple in it.. I just give it little twitches all the way back to me.. almost like a fluke... I wasn't sure how to retrieve it either, so I played around with the retrieve till it felt right.. lol.

I've never fished with a spoon... don't have ffs.. but I do see fish under me all the time with 2d.. I'll have to start trying to catch some with a spoon.. nice going Alex.!

Brandon Greenhill I'll get ffs one day... I'm tired of getting beat by it... lol

Yes it was... I couldn't weigh it tho cause my scales were inside the hull of my kayak.. they had slid way down from the front hatch into the middle .. I had to take everything off the kayak and stand it up to get them to slide down to where I could grab them.... only to find out the batteries were dead... lol.

Michael Wildman it's not working either...

Brian Latimer I think lake blue ridge in north Georgia might be the closest smallmouth lake, it's 3 hours from me... might have to make that trip sometime soon..!

Brian Latimer Shoal bass definitely are fun to catçh.. but it does take some work to get to them sometimès.. fighting rapids, dragging kayaks over shoals, doing floats where you leave a vehicle at the bottom ramp, and launch at the top one... I'd say it's worth the battle to get to them, but at 63 yrs old it can be a lot sometimes...
