Ended the year with a short day on Lanier today, big winds set in and had to head back to ramp. Love the Hobie Kayak as it stayed strong and balanced in the winds and white caps. Mother Nature always wins! Ned Rig on this little guy

Yeah boy!!! Caught my last two fish of the year yesterday! Not to mention 🄁🄁🄁🄁🄁 my first bass on a top water walking style bait! That's a whole other bite right there. Nothing like using the tips and tricks from these classes to snag a "first fish". Murky water, dark baits. Saw some kingfishers on a buoy along with a couple of blips on the water. This definitely meant a top water bite... Then a couple twitch twitch twitch pauses later.... Doooooooooop! Love it! Hope y'all have a great New Year's Eve!

Ended my 2024 catches with a few spots on the crystal clear Belews Creek. Happy new years all! Best of luck to anyone else going out on your last 2024 fish ventures.

There’s one area of a lake I frequent where I learned to not throw baits that make contact with the bottom. I didn’t know what was there, but through trial and error I knew I’d get hung or loose a lure if I threw a Texas rig over there. I assumed it was a gnarly stump or something, but today I finally got some answers šŸ˜‚ this side scan thing is truly a gift!

Just wanted to give you all something for your fridge to stand out next to all of your other basic greeting cards from the rest of your family and friends!

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays SUF Family!

Currently on the phone with DNR to report a new species. This explains all the popped floats and paddle boards reported by local lake residents.

Don’t sleep on merthiolate in the fall/winter.
