Always count on pin fish for a bite.

Got out for a couple of hours on the water today. This one was the best of the day, caught in less than 5 feet of water

Just your casual day cruising on lake Lanier. No fishing rods on the boat if you can believe that.

Blew away my PB yesterday. 8lb 4oz caught on a Texas Rig with a 6th Sense 9.6 inch Boassa watermelon red.

So stoked with this catch. Caught 3 fish in 35 mins making a total of 14.8lb in 35 mins.

Today, I had a tournament on a pond/lake that is overpopulated with fish. It is great for taking kids to catch fish. However, it stinks to catch bigger fish. The article emphasizes the importance of harvesting bass in small waters like ponds to maintain a healthy fish population. In small ponds, bass can quickly overpopulate, leading to stunted growth and an unbalanced ecosystem. Regularly removing smaller bass helps ensure enough food for the remaining fish, promoting the growth of larger, healthier bass.  In small ponds, however, harvesting 15 to 35 pounds of bass per acre per year is often recommended to prevent overcrowding and support a balanced fishery1.

Took all week but finally got the skunk off my boat.
I caught this little guy in about 2 feet of water, swimming a jig down a blow over.
