Just wanted to say hello from Midland, Texas! I got into the kayak tournament scene mid last year and instantly fell in love with it. Kayak tournament fishing has become a real passion of mine—I even started documenting the journey on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. What’s everyone experiencing right now with the weather? Fishing was on fire in the southern TN / northern MS area and then we had terrible weather for nearly a week. Now, it’s cool temps again.

Quick recommendation needed. For those who fish rivers, any recommendations on a basic fish finder / system that would replace my brother in laws’s 20+ year old unit? Nothing high end, just a reliable upgrade that doesn’t break his wallet. Thanks in advance.
