Hey community! Would fishing off shore rock piles, humps and submerged creek beds at night hold fish like it does in the daytime?

Got out for my first little tournament on Tuesday evening for 3 hrs. Maybe 11 boats including me. Got a couple bites on the Carolina rig but no fish on. Went to weigh in because I was curious and I wanna say that at least 5 boats had a full 5 fish bag. A few with 2-3 fish. It was a fun first outing, but I think I'll wait to go back until I can consistently catch 3 or more fish per outing.

Last night I was looking on active caption for some sneaky spots(off the beaten path) for my local club tournament. Went out today and found some juice!

Here’s the live class from yesterday on Summer fishing. Use this link.

Anyone on SUF from Colorado or recently fished there? I'll be in the Denver area end of next week and then up to Turquoise Lake. Trying to figure out what baits to take as well as what season the bass are in.
Am I just a wuss but for some reason I’m nervous to fish super big lakes the biggest lake I have fished is right around a thousand acres any advice for tackling big bodies of water? I’m a fairly experienced boater just for some reason am intimidated by those huge lakes for example I live a block away from Lake Michigan and have never taken a boat out there
