Day 1 of tournament only 9.74lbs which included a 3.75lb smallie.  A lot to learn on this big new lake for me.  But was happy with my 5 fish.  Caught them in the weeds and docks on a wacky rig.  I couldn’t get the offshore smallmouth bite going which was the popular method to getting them.

On this session we talked about summer fishing and how to curb the tough conditions.

Just a heads up guys. I made a mistake on the new crankbait workshop I launched. I filmed the intro 2 times because the wind was so bad that day and I didn’t label them correctly. I’ll get the real part 2 up ASAP.

Does anyone have to deal with algae blooms on their fishery?  If so, how do you go about fishing through them? 

Anyone fish the Susquehanna River before? Headed that way for my bday in a few weeks and pretty excited about it. Tell me about your experiences!  

Last night we had 4 members in the hot seat of the SUF Live Class. There's some good info here on fishing deep grass, matted grass, docks and how to fish smaller 100-300 acre lakes from a kayak.
