How would you guys fish this grass...? Lake Oconee, in Georgia...right above Lake Sinclair..
Found this video Brain made fishing the creeks. He has a part in it showing how he likes to bulk up his spinnerbaits in muddy water. I found useful to see. https://youtu.be/3FMmWOQiSyU?si=IJjY-tF_zMHxMpkc

I know this is a fishing community, but I got my 1st ever Buck (not the ideal way though)🤷🏾🤷🏾

I thought I’d share my new boat that I’m about to go pick up in Tennessee

State Championship recap. This tournament was a two day event on Telico Lake and Ft Loudon. Fishing the main lake was a challenge. You could find bass chasing shad just about everywhere. The quality of fish was nothing to talk about as 5 fish limits ranged from 60-75”. Since the quality was not there and the fish weren’t willing to bite as well as I had hoped. I went river fishing. I don’t usually get to fish for smallmouth, but it felt right. First morning, I went to a saddle near the dam and within 15 minutes I caught this beauty. That was about all I can report. The dam wasn’t pulling any water and the current was weak. I did not adjust to scoping, which is what my teammates did to catch solid limits. However, I tried a lot of things and I can’t wait to try this again sometime. Taking what I learned this year and I’m going to make 2026 even better. I finished top 10 in AOY, made the state team, 4 top 5 finishes with multiple big bass awards. Thanks for all of the support and encouragement, I’ve seen a lot of growth from where I was a year ago.👊🏼

Fall Fishing tour continued: After meeting up with Tim Dodson on his home lake, we had another surprise visit on our way to Pennsylvania. We also got to spend time with Mack Toon in one of his hidey holes. He came aboard the vessel for a day of fun fishing. We had a great day laughing, teaching and just being three guys in a boat with knowledge and tackle. Fish were caught, landscaping was done, stumps were bumped and a hundred types of baits were thrown. We fished until the sun went down. Thanks to Mack for spending the day!

Welp! Don’t make the same mistake I did🤣 my friends and I have a “too dumb moment” chat and this was mine - not thinking, staying up late cleaning my boat and organizing tackle, I wrote the REGISTRATION CODE instead of the tournament ID last weekend. And go figure, they were CHEWING. Had, I think 104 or 105” and it was all for not🥲 haha. It’s all good! Back at it again this weekend hopefully
Just got the new Level rods in! 7’3” heavy rated up to 3/4 oz. To replace my current frogging rod. I’ll update this after tomorrow or Sunday. Fall classic starts so I’ll be on the water!
Looks - 10/10!
Feel - 8.5/10 - balances really well, but just ever so slightly tip heavy (in my opinion)
Rod action - 8/10 definitely going to be great for frogs and up to 3/8 oz flipping and in tighter areas. Which is exactly what I wanted
Price - 10/10 - I’ve always found that rods in the $150-$300 range are the best. And this fits the bill
This is just from opening the package and holding it and making a couple casts in the back yard
I need to know specifics!!!
