Not fishing but I get paid for this today

Trip recap to Lake of the Woods Canada…had such a blast, caught so many fish and didn’t have cell service so I forgot to take more pictures. Whoops. Caught big old Chomp Chomp on the 2nd day on a spinning rod while Walleye fishing. 38” and 13.02lbs. The rest of the trip was filled with non-stop walleye and smallmouth. We fried up the keepers almost every night. Smallmouth were spitting up bright orange pieces of crawfish in the Livewell. Matched it up with a Ned. I feel like if you concentrated on nothing but smallies for an entire week up there you could catch 1,000 smallies in a week. While Perch fishing a different pike ate the perch while reeling him in, broke the rod but I still got them in for a picture.

Do any of you have luck sight fishing specific bass around bream beds? Or mostly blind fishing them and fishing structure around them? I have luck sight fishing them in late April-early May, but have struggled more targeting specific fish into the summer. It seems like the bass are more skittish and pop into the bed, then leave, compared to earlier in the season when they will stay on the edge of the bream beds.

Another day with Uncle Ray on Lanier… we moved up North. We boated 6 already on a new wall now newly named Rays wall!

Back home and resting today from the Georgia trip with Ray, we had 3 days on West point Lake and yesterday for the start of the Big Bass Challenge we were on Lanier. Lanier was a bust for me but had a good time. Found fish but all they would do is chase the bait, would not commit to strike.
We did catch some good ones on West Point.
Looks like I will not have many fishing days for this Big Bass challenge due to a family medical issue.
