Had a great learning experience fishing a tournment on Lake Winneconne yesterday. Had an experienced co-angler that was a college angler. Certainly learned a few things from him. We burned a chatterbait all day on docks. Lake is almost 16,000 acres with a max depth of 7ft. Water is muddy and reminded me of fishing in Georgia. Rained on us all day but still had fun.

“She thinks we’re just fishin’.” 🎣❤️

My girl caught her very first bass today, and to say I’m proud would be a complete understatement. Watching the excitement she gets over fishies, right alongside her brother, makes my heart so happy.Fishing is something that was passed down to me from my dad, and now getting the opportunity to pass that same love and those traditions down to my kids is something I’ll never take for granted. These are the moments and memories I’ll cherish forever. There’s nothing better than watching your kids fall in love with something that means so much to you. Here’s to many more fish, muddy hands, early mornings, and memories together.
