We’ve been talking about this a lot the last few weeks in the app. Here’s the difference in the 2 major species of smallmouth bass.
Just received my prize from Barde’s online tournment! Real good neoprene rod sock!
Make sure you guys sign up for Barde’s online tournment too. It’s the same time frame as SUF and for a great cause.
Are "dice" baits getting any traction in tournaments? They have become the thing to have among recreational anglers in Some areas. I'm curious what Pros think of them.
Looking forward to the live with B in a few. He'll he talking about locating them smallmoufs!!!
I received my Suf stickers today, when I got home from fishing. It was a little slow, but I got 2
I am terrible at using a depth finder 😂If I see something on the screen it is hard for me to visualize where it really is. I would like to get better at it. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I have a Garmin 93sv.
A good summer bass this weekend with Destiny Siguenza with temps on my units showing 86-90 between the Lowrance and Garmin just know it was HOT. Skipping some floating docks in 28-30ft of water was the ticket. They were also on the ladder looking things. Lots of shade. The old Neko rig did the job yesterday.
One other cool thing yesterday was watching them have big bait balls corralled into a pocket and watching them bust up the schools with FFS. There were schools of shad absolutely everywhere in this particular pocket. I did catch one throwing into the chaos too. Did anyone else bear the the heat this weekend and get out?
Kinda been chilling for a bit, said enough of that this weekend, got out for about 4 hours yesterday after a good storm pushed through on a newer lake I found out about. Did one of those weigh my best 5 deals... did alright and had some fun with the drop shot!! Hot snakes SMH worm, that was the ticket!
I got to go fishing with this guy today.
It was a lot of fun and I got to learn how to fish a drop shot.
Saw a rare sight 2 weeks ago..... I was on the Oconee river in Milledgeville, Georgia and saw a 6' long, atleast a 100lb sturgeon... they swim all the way up from the ocean to spawn.. it got about as far as it could go cause lake Sinclair dam is right above where I saw it.. 3' deep in super clear water. I couldn't believe my eyes, didn't know they were even in the Oconee.. googled it and yep.. super rare to even see one. I couldn't get it on video cause of the glare, plus it was only within sight for ½ a min.. thought that was a really cool experience tho. Mother nature rocks.!!
