I really enjoyed and got out a lot of our coaching session Brian! Now I'm working on implementing and practicing the things you showed me. Went out for a few hours yesterday morning. Didn't catch anything very big but I did catch a lot of 10"-12" largemouths and spots.

I like that a lot. I definitely think it would be very useful to remember things that were talked about. Heck I keep waiting on my coaching session video to get posted just so I can go rewatch it myself to remember everything we talked about. I can’t even remember everything from my own coaching session and I was the one there! So I do think a guide like you have here would be very useful!

I wish I was better at it. I’m still petty new to electronics in general. Been around them some over the years but I never had a boat with electronics until the last couple of years and only in the last year have I really started trying to learn how to use them.

Nice! Congrats! I wasn’t able to find any upgrades this weekend unfortunately

Good research. I've used ChatGPT a lot for the same reason ans I have tried Google Gemini a little bit but not a lot so far.

Been a little dry spell of just catching little guys but this evening I got to go fish for a couple hours and was fortunate enough to get a few big enough that I felt they were worth boarding and submitting to the tournament.

I threw a crankbait, a buzz bait, and spinner bait, etc and couldn't buy a bite until right at dusk I started throwing a Megabass X80 Jr jerkbait and that's what I caught every fish on that I caught today.

I tried jerking the bait pretty hard, light twitches, very small feather like twitches but similar to what Fred James said in the live a couple days ago - in the end they just wanted a straight retrieve pretty much.

I would cast it out and let it sit until ripples dissipated. If I didn't have a fish by then, then I would twitch it a couple times and then just steadily retrieve it back to the boat. I caught multiple ones before I even started the retrieve - they would hit it while it was just sitting there while waiting on the ripples to dissipate.
