One fish to weigh in today on Lake Murray 4 lbs even. I couldn’t talk them into biting but it was a good day!
The next series of workshops looks like this for you guys.
There’s a war in our minds about technology. It’s in our mind. Bass are still doing the same things they always have done. They are still going to the same places they always have. Since there’s so many ways to consume information the war in our minds pulls us in so many different directions once we’re on the lake.
Let’s talk about it today at 12pm on the live class.
I just used the TBN discount code and saved 60 bucks.
Here’s the link to snoop around if you need some tiny boat accessories. To be honest there’s a bunch of good stuff for all types of boats.

Just wanted to share my boat build and let others know it’s alot of work but so worth it . This is my 1991 alumacraft phantom V170 rebuilt from the float foam up. Floor ,wiring harness/fuse panel, added lighting storage and graphs(two at the dash and two up front and a non mega 360) updated to a 115 Johnson .
Also added a deck extension with custom cut out and lighting for the tackle storage !
I wanted a boat to take anywhere and fish club tournaments and it has done awsome and we have fished a lot of water and places so worth it !
So I’m working on snow/ice on my gravel driveway and I noticed this that relates to fishing. Our temperature this week have been below freezing all day long but mostly sunny. So the gravel still heats up and is melting the frozen snow. Each day we are getting a fraction more daylight so imagine why the fish like rock in cold water. As long as the sun can reach the rock in the waterway it will heat up no matter the water temperature. The bigger the rock surface the more heat potential. Be intentional when fishing!
Top to bottom 1,2,3 or 4? - 1st local tourney this Saturday on Belews. Popular vote is getting tied on to my starting line up.
Vote on the most scrumptious looking option!
I went bank robbing for my birthday yesterday and caught a couple of birthday bass. This was literally my last cast for the day.
I was fishing a spot for a good 45 minutes while eyeing this gap between emergent vegetation. Thought about all of the lessons about "places that look different" and bass ambushing bait. Wind was blowing my direction and you could see the current rushing between the vegetation. I kept saying I should throw over there. However I couldn't cast that far. So when it was time to go, I walked over for that "one last cast" and got hit. I casted far back from the water because I assumed the edge was soft. Good thing it wasn't because I had to get the fish out from getting hung-up.
