Well thatโs a wrap for the 2025 bass fishing tournament scene for me.. I managed to place 1st in 10 events, top 3 in 17 and top 10 in 11 just wanted to say thanks Blat for all the knowledge and the great app.. couldnโt of done it without you guys in the app..
Ended up coming in first out of 18 boats with 19.56 pounds and a 6 pound pounder for the kicker. Just wanna thank everybody for the round tables and the help these past couple weeks getting prepared for this tournament.
Another tournament in the books:
The big O met with our local club today and did not disappoint. She was a stingy, misbehaving, and outright difficult body of water to deal with. However some of us managed to have a great time and built on the bridge of confidence. Next week itโs a tournament on Kissimmee that will test to the next level. As Brian recently told me โyou arenโt competing against the other anglersโโฆ figure the rest out like I did. :)
This happened today.
When I pulled back on throttle unfortunately pulled it too far. I couldnโt run big motor after. May be heading to the shop. Had run back to the ramp on trolling motor roughly 2+ miles.
THOUGHTS??
Look at the attachment from this Community Round Table discussion.ย Is it helpful?
Hey guys, Brian has been talking about planning for 2026. Part of that is looking for what we can add in the app that helps you. I'm doing some testing on some downloadable products. Check out the guide I created for this Round Table discussion on picking a new spot.ย It should show up as a Resource under the video.

How to Pick a New Spot to U...
Well, I finally was successful fishing a big lake with the Kayak!!! Thank you for the amazing information that this app has provided! I followed what you were saying andI researched, came up with a plan for a few types of lures vs. the kitchen sink, and listened to what the lake had to tell me to identify signs of baitfish.
No giant by any means, but a huge win in my book!
As we move further into the colder months of the year, donโt forget that your kayak can do more than just โstealthโ and โget to the places big boats canโtโ.
This is from last December, the day after Christmas. I sat out on this Kentucky Lake main lake point getting pounded by the wind and waves and chucking this A-rig as far as I could.
Caught two 20+ inch smallmouth, an 18 inch smallmouth, and more striper than I can count. One of my favorite days ever on the water!
