I'm like a meth addict over here. The weather has been ridiculous, and my boat is in the shop getting serviced for the 2025 season. I haven't been fishing in what feels like forever. Please post your catch pics so I can live vicariously.
Best part about nightshift... Is being able to have time to catch up rewatch the older content... You never know what you may have missed or forgotten. Definitely helped me get recentered on basics.
🔔NEW BAIT 🚨 I’m designing a new bait with zman join the live here in a few minutes if you’re free.
NC & SUF Fam,
I made our clubs annual open house flyer last night and wanted to share here. If you live in or around the piedmont triad feel free to stop by for our open house or find us on FB. New Boaters and Co-Anglers are welcome.
Our Pro-Am style tournaments run Jan-June.
Our open Team series will start in fall.
Regardless if you are from N.C. or not. Look into your local clubs, and get on the water as much as you can in 2025.
Hey everyone,
Im curious to know if anyone has used the moon cycles to fish bass? And if so, has it resulted in any big ones?
Well, been waiting for it. First idiot in WI to go through that made the news! It is online if you wanna watch. https://www.nbc26.com/news/local-news/dont-come-in-the-waters-not-fine-no-ice-is-safe-ice
A person out fishing, on the same thin ice by the way, got it on video. He got a 32 in. pike and a 23 in. catfish on the same body of water. Seems like he had an exciting time fishing! Hope the guy in the vehicle learned a lesson, looks like he got out just fine.
After all the talk of fishing humps and ditches last night I hit the lake today and found this guy off the steep side off a hump! He fully committed to this crankbait, what a fun bite! I really enjoyed the discussion last night and I’m looking forward to part 2
Went out for a couple of hours today before the next cold snap in Virginia. Forced a smile when my buddy caught the lunker of the day 😀
Will you be posting the live from tonight? I was unable to make it in time and would love to see what you guys covered.
Tim Dodson asked about marking waypoints so this is one of the tricks I use when I see stuff like road beds, rock plies, old ramp or foundations. If you notice in the picture I just did a quick drawing of this area because I know there is an old boat ramp right next to this ramp. The red lines show were the ramp is. When I mark it, I will place dots or marks along the edge of it and the end of it to "draw" an outline. Then I will place one in the center with a title of what it is. Plus it helps with size reference. So if I find rock pile, I do the same thing. Outline with marks then one in the center. Now, you can easily see it on your map and know how to position your boat without having to scan it. Hope that helps explain it.
