Been busy but wanted jump on here with a teaser. Just a quick evening frog bite at that "secret" spot I got 😁. As always, thanks for all the support on here and social media.

Showers and muddy water but still caught fish for entires into the “ King of the ring” tournament.

Here's the full schedule for The SUF Tournament series this year. Second photo gives you step by step instructions on how to register. Follow the prompts and you're in. You can find all the rules here https://shopblat.com/pages/2025-straight-up-fishing-spring-classic
I learned a few cool things at the James this week. Would love to share with you some cool ways to catch summer bass this week. Let me know your interest here!
I eventually found a swim jig and Dropshot deal on the James this week. I had 11lbs today. If I can keep catching more fishing I should be able to make the Sunday cut tomorrow. 15-20 bites I’ll really like my chances. If I get like 10 bites it could get weird.

Y'all! When I say say I am floored and so proud to see my son and wife reel in my dream fish is an understatement!!! Within 30 seconds of drifting she hooked up but a bull shark took it from her then she hooked up again. William helped her landing hers, but he landed his on his own. William's was 35 in. Sarah's had to be similar in size. I never got to hook up on one, because the proverbial switch turned off and I was too busy landing those damn sail catfish. 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Either way it was money well spent to see those smiles! (I'll be submitting his to the FL reel big fish make a memory site.)

Day 1 at Indian lake did not disappoint had just under 11lbs. Learned some about the lake going to explore more tomorrow

Day 2 at Indian went well launched this morning with a tournament. Weigh in was at 230 I got off the water at 3. Took 13.8 and 13.4 to get in the money. I had 11.4. A nice respectable bag. It's back to Alum Creek for tomorrow before heading home

Finished the road trip at Alum Creek today. Did a lot of idling and scanning. Caught a couple nice ones. Learned some about the lake. There is A LOT of boat traffic. Can't wait to do it again over the the 4th.
