Good morning! What do you guys consider a day that is too windy to fish? I understand a little about wind speed and wind gust. When you look at the wind report for the day, what makes you say “I’m not going out there today?”

2025 highlights
One highlight from this year was a top 10 at law Hartwell in March. My kids where there. Brooks has always wanted to come to a weigh in and he finally got a chance to see it all in person.

Quick question! I use DJI action 4 to record video when fishing. I have one camera around my neck but the battery does not last as long as my cameras connected to Ian and being charged by the boat. Do you guys use some type of external power for your action camera around your neck? If so please tell me about it. Thanks in advance.

I really had a blessed 2025. Got the chance to fish with a variety of great people! My dad and nephew came from NY for his 16th birthday to fish. As well as my 6 and 8 year old nephews from California. Took a couple family friends kids out for their first time fishing. Had the pleasure to fish with Mark Jonas a couple times and explore a new lake. Mark and I also got the chance to meet up with Brian at the Mississippi for the Championship. Had a great tournment season, 2nd and 5th were my best finishes in our local tournment trail. Also did my best to hold down the largest Smallmouth spot in the SUF league. I’ve had the chance to learn so much from this community and Brian Latimer. I’m truly thankful and appreciative of you all! Thank you for helping me grow and learn more about my passion.
Looking forward to 2026 season with the chance to fish with Tom Spoljaric and anyone else interested in coming up North. Thank you all! Hope you have a healthy Happy Holidays, Happy New Year, and Tight Lines!

Another highlight of my year! My wife is like my good luck charm! She went fishing with me one evening after work and I caught 12 bass within 2 hours. I love when she gets decides to tag along.

traded in my truck last fall for this van. its taken me all year building to get it to where she is now. but it has allowed me so many adventures. the first trip in it was to go fish with B-Lat in the spring, it was only half built then. took the wife to Maine and got to fish new water farther away from home. I've already started planning my adventures for next year. Fishing with Darrel in Florida in February, and Wisconsin with Kevin in July. I would like to go fishing with a few other SUF members during the season. if your interested let me know. My boat or yours. Your body of water.
