I love the Potomac! That’s a good fish for there too!

It’s not necessarily about water depth but about what depth are the fish using. If the bass are in 3ft or less it’s always a wacky for me. However I use a wacky under docks that are 40+ ft often. Because the bass are suspended it’s about the depth the fish are using more than the depth of the water

Day 1 at Kentucky lake turned out ok in spite of the challenging weather.

Not necessarily true! Typically with spots catching one or 2 results in pulling the school away and it’s hard to catch another in most circumstances.

I’ve used them all. The only one I’ve had problems with is seaguar. Right now I’m using strike king and yo zuri. The yo zuri stuff is amazing

Anything that has shimano on it is worth it. I’d say the shimano curado or slx is a good place to start!

I’ve done that 1000 times over. I highly recommend it. You can do it in fluorocarbon too but it doesn’t work quite as smoothly

Yes they all use points. Where the points are usually determines what mostly lives there.

Spots and smallmouth generally use more main lake points. GENERALLY!!!!

Largemouth generally use interior points. GENERALLY SPEAKING!!! They can be used for spawning, post spawn and prespawn. Points provide ambush points so they play all year long. I won’t ever do a seasonal breakdown and not mention points.
