I just wanted to update you all on my AOY chase!! I finished top 10!!! my goal was to make top 10 and i made it 9th in my AOY!!! I fished against some absolute hammers in my trail!! i am so pumped for the bassmaster kayak first event on Feb on LAKE MURRAY!!! LETSSS GOOOOO!!!

I am a veteran who fishes on the local kayak trails. I have lived fishing from childhood. Fishing is my way of dealing with the trauma of deployments. Something about being on the water makes everything fade away. I would love the opportunity to fish with you. I find it hard to say why you should pick me other than I have a drive that’s like no other and I want to soak up all the knowledge I can so I can chase my own dream in the tournament kayak world. I want to learn.

Tough waters

I was wondering what you would suggest for the tougher smaller lakes? max depth of like 17 feet? Fish seem to be lathargic in our local smaller lakes and we are fishing kayak tourneys where 2 fish are winning. any suggestions??
