The family rented a Wisconsin lake house in Fall on a notoriously great fishing lake. We got ourselves all prepared with gear trailered the boat did all our research…come to find after we got there the lake was in turnover. We fished for an entire week everyday and caught nothing until the very last hour of the last day. Still made the best of it and great memories.

Have you ever been flats fishing down in the Florida keys? It’s one of my favorite places to fish. You can get snapper and grouper off bridges for frying up. Also a wide range of species out in the flat. Tarpon, lady fish, barracuda, redfish, sharks…I have a guy down there that will take good care of you if you’re interested.

Hey when you got that itch to go almost nothing can stop you. Specially when you’re 6.

Fathers Day 2015. This was when I still lived in Buffalo, NY. Fished Lake Erie with my dad and we had the best day of Walleye fishing. I caught my first 30” Walleye and we had several other 6-9lb Walleye that day. Ate like kings after.

Just try a 2oz punching rig to get through that.
