My father in law had a 5 way tie for 3rd place in our Wednesday nighter with a 17.75”.  My 16.75” didn’t make the cut.

Do you guys have any experience with Optima batteries? Are they worth the $.

I only have room for one starting/electronics battery in my boat so I’m looking to maximize my running time without have to jump my starting battery with a Noco boost anytime I want to run the engine.  Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Great weekend to be at the north woods cabin for some fishing, eating, and drinking.

Just sayin…every time I wear this shirt and throw a gremlin…I’ve caught my 3 biggest bass this year.

When the man says throw at the dock when it has a double post, he’s not wrong.

Absolute grind of a weekend tournament.  Freezing cold and windy but finished middle of the pack with 4 fish 8.94#.  Still had fun!  Caught them on a minnowz, jr. size jerk bait, and gremlin.

Have a tournament coming up this weekend. Friday-Sunday looking at a significant cold front with nightly temps in the high 20’s and days in the 40’s but sunny. Wind 17-20mph. Current water temps are in the high 40’s low 50’s. Bass are currently pre spawn, roaming out in front of docks or on the front posts of docks in shallow protected pockets. Will be targeting LMB. There is a mix of clear, stained, and muddy water. Practiced over the weekend and caught them in all 3 water clarities. No weeds have grown yet. I rewatched a lot of our videos, but wanted to see what your thoughts were?

Here’s one for ya that’s going to cause a stir in WI.  The Wisconsin Conservatory Congress has banning FFS as a topic of discussion for their Spring meeting.  In the news they’re saying the Crappie population on the smaller lakes is being devastated.  #22 on the list.
