These Canadian smallies fight so hard and are so healthy.  Steady diet of minnows and crayfish.  

Another awesome day!  Probably had 60-70 smallies between the two of us.  Also the record for the smallest bass caught on a Ned.  

Up in Lake of the Woods Ontario, had about an hour to fish.  Caught this delicious 24.5” 

Who wants to see the Olympics add fresh and saltwater fishing?  How fun would that be to watch!  Come home with your gold medal in fishing!

Throw another 4th place in the books for our club Wednesday nighters.  

Have you guys ever had this issue?  I have a 13 fishing concept A2, less than a year old, and the drag doesn’t work.  The reel is engaged but I can pull the line off with no effort.

Day 2 was rufffff.  Couple weather delays due to severe thunderstorms and a big 0 in my Livewell.  Tuff long day.  Couldn’t get anything to bite.  Some people still caught them though.  Bag weights were cut in half versus yesterday.  Have to learn from this one and onto the next one…

Day 1 of tournament only 9.74lbs which included a 3.75lb smallie.  A lot to learn on this big new lake for me.  But was happy with my 5 fish.  Caught them in the weeds and docks on a wacky rig.  I couldn’t get the offshore smallmouth bite going which was the popular method to getting them.
