Pre spawn I really like hitting them with a Jerkbait. Water is cold and at its clearest, usually always a chop on the water from the wind. Just feels right.

Here’s a thought for Wednesday AM…you know how flamingos and salmon filets are red due to the amount of crustaceans they eat. Wonder if bass eyes turn red because they’re up shallow and feeding on all crustaceans vs a diet of minnows?
