Hey hey yā€™all! A little bit ago I held a ā€œRoundtable Liveā€ about nutrition, hydration & the importance of rest in regards to fishing.

Thank you for coming to chat in my live if you did!

There was some interest in the supplementation that I was recommending to help achieve and optimize these avenues.

-magnesium/blends-

  • https://a.co/d/1eKHrgS SynerMag. Great stuff. Taken before bed & with dinner it will help you relax and keep your muscles loose throughout the day. Helps with recovery. A lot of people would be surprised by the benefits of magnesium and the amount of positive benefits it will bring.

-Drink supplements/hydration multiplier-Ultimately itā€™s about how your body can uptake the liquid through improved osmolality & getting the electrolytes back in your body that you sweat out and use through physical activity.

A good recommendation is half your body weight in pounds to in ounces of water a day. 200lbs, drink 100oz. Ultimately youā€™ll know if you need more or less. Varies with activity level and temperature.

If youā€™re salt sensitive take that into account. More dilution with more water can help that.

-Mental focus and nootropics-

A sharp mind helps many things. Quicker decision making and mood boosts will always be welcomed.

-Sleep supplements/help-

Other recommendations I would have is cut
Your water at the end of your day so your not waking up to pee and disrupting your sleep.

-Going forward-
Thereā€™s a lot to this whole topic and I would be glad to help anyone interested in such. Iā€™m here if you need me! Food and exercise Iā€™m all ears. Itā€™s a lifestyle.

Thanks Kevin!

I used a Yum flash mob junior. Our law is three hooks, so I used 1/8 heads (Mr crappie they have a decent mustad in them) on the bottom three. Flatted and spread out the arms flat so I could creep the bottom without getting hung as much.

The top two teasers in clipped on gold number 4 willow blades to the snap. Bent the blades for a little more thump and some lift.

Baits were BigJoshy 2.75 on the right and left in glow perch. A white Berkley 2.75 ripple shad on the middle.

Light like this I could throw it on a spinner bait setup with 12lb Fluoro.

The 3- 1/8 heads makes this thing like a spinnerbait. No need for specialized tackle.

Buzzer beater today during a game time decision, slow rolling the A-rig did the job through a deep 7ft-8ft slow stretch. She bumped it twice on the bottom and then swam up 7 ft to hit it at the boat in 38 degree water today. 19.5ā€ Incher. Only bite today. Couldnā€™t get em to eat a jerk bait today uncharacteristically. My homie caught his on a jerk though. Iā€™ll take it. Admittedly first smallie on the A-rig. Finally set it up where I wasnā€™t getting hung up and the heads werenā€™t to heavy and voila!
