Loved learning that technique this week. Extremely eye opening. Spots are dope to target like that

One rod challenge. 7ā€ taxi shad glide. If you donā€™t have confidence in something, keep it in your hand. If you want to purely get better at something, just keep it in your hand. If itā€™s a black and blue jig just keep it in your hand. The difference with the ā€œbig baitsā€ is just the buy in is more expensive. Same mindset. All baits are just tools. It can be more fun to use an air ratchet instead of a box end wrench.
This is a solid 3 Younder but before this I had what I propose to be a 6-7 pounder come and grab this thing and just missed the hooks. Funny how they can do that.
Tight lines! Get out there!

Indeed on the river she was sitting in some whitewater hiding in a sneaky little eddy between 2 riffles. I went there chasing a giant. Theres 7s and 8s that have been caught there.

It is indeed a Wiper! They are so much fun. If you can find them schooling it can be one every cast. I got into a bunch of 1-2 pounders earlier this year in Oklahoma on Lake Tenkiller. We were catching them throwing a crank bait. We mustā€™ve casted into the boil for 30 mins. It was non stop action. If you have a dam on that lake you were talking about I could almost guarantee they up in the outflow as well!

5-12 largie

20.25 smallie summer lean girl @3.57 but I caught a 19.50ā€ this spring that had to be close to 5. Smallies are all over the place in weight here.

Ohio. Itā€™s a struggle. lol

Thereā€™s no rules to this. Only suggestions. Hunted down a nice hybrid fishing eddies adjacent to white water on the river. The water was dirty so I chose a chatterbait. Not your typical ā€œstriped bass familyā€ of baits. Predators just need to ā€œseeā€ the presentation. Sometimes vibration helps. . Wading is a form of bank fishing and can be extremely productive right now. If youā€™ve got hybrids around you go give em a shot. Theyā€™re heating up while the other black bass species can be difficult this time of the year. This almost 22ā€ 4 1/2 pounder was a pb for me. Man do they fight! Especially in the current. Tight lines! šŸŽ£
