Kevin Skovenski I competed in a few crappie tournaments locally with a buddy of mine.. we never really placed that well it goes by 7 fish limit.. they stopped doing them locally and truthfully you couldn’t compete locally here without live scope because the big ones roam

I quit bass fishing for like 5 years and just chased them around and honestly it’s more fun than bass fishing..

Patrick Berry I new the lake had a thermocline but didn’t know what depth so I just used it as a search tool in the lake .. i just casted off a steep bank into water I knew that was 20-30ft deep.. and reeled back slowly. Don’t need much action to get the tail moving..

I have caught fish with jighead minnow off the bank.. I tend to fish it over really deep water on like a 3/16 oz jighead keeping it suspended in the water column.. I honestly think there are better techniques for this though like a jerkbait..
