Put a nail weight or 2 in the chin area of it and best retrieve is chop style .. work the bait with the reel not the rod.. one then then another turn. 1 revolution it will chop.. its not the best but for the price it isn’t terrible

Most lakes people are fishing have a lot of coves and creek legs.. here in eastern nc the only natural lakes are shallow bowl shaped lakes (Phelps lake, lake mattamuskeet) they are less than 5ft deep how do you go about targeting fish in these types of lakes.. pretty much all sandy bottom

It’s got my name on it :p

Sometimes you gotta ring the bell so they know dinner is there.. and that was a pretty awesome hook set if I must say so myself

I know a custom rod builder hell of a guy who can make a rod fit pretty much all your needs

Hey Jacob I honestly would go yak attack leader board it floats has built in identifier holder.. the ketch boards are okay but they don’t float, and don’t hold your identifier.. if I had to go with ketch I would go aluminum and get a after market identifier holder and then put a bunch of weatherstripping on the back to make sure it floats.. I personally use the yak attack I have had 3 of them so far and 3 of the ketch’s
