Lol just gotta fish fast… it’s not really what I would call overly fun but it teaches me how to fish when weather isn’t in my favor

Me and Ricky Taylor got out for some Sunday sheenanigans. He of course had to teach me how to fish.. not many big ones but we managed around 2 dozen or so fish.. appreciate him coming down and fishing with me.. next trip is up his way..

Some Sunday sheenanigans.. I managed to get 2 fish that were board worthy.. was a tough bite in the 20-30mph winds in a kayak.. good luck all competing in the suf tournament

Patrick Berry I new the lake had a thermocline but didn’t know what depth so I just used it as a search tool in the lake .. i just casted off a steep bank into water I knew that was 20-30ft deep.. and reeled back slowly. Don’t need much action to get the tail moving..

I have caught fish with jighead minnow off the bank.. I tend to fish it over really deep water on like a 3/16 oz jighead keeping it suspended in the water column.. I honestly think there are better techniques for this though like a jerkbait..
