Kevin S. I learned my lesson. In one tournament we were at a fishery that was mostly largemouth. There were only two smallmouth caught. Mine was 1 lb and 8ish ounces. I thought I am not weighing that for lunker. The other smallmouth weighed for lunker was 1 lb 2 oz - He won lunker smallmouth because I did not ask. Lesson: register for everything and all contingencies and ask what the current lunker is. :-) I may have been the only Suzuki registered or somehow I beat the only other one there. 

Good fishery and I just could not figure them out on tournament day. that one fish was worth $250 in Suzuki Contingency because I somehow beat the only other suzuki in the field...

The coangler can throw whatever they want and if something is working switch to it. I usually tell my coangler what I am catching them on.
