Just make sure you get the water out of the motor at the ramp when you get below freezing nights. Lower motor, get all water out of bilge, livewells and anywhere else. I also lower the motor and bump the starter to make sure there is no water in the vanes of the water pump. Enjoy, Make Memories!

Cherish the memories, for me I realized that I was a guide for them not a fishing day for me. Once I made it about them it was a better trip. When I tried to fish I got frustrated bacause I wanted to seriously fish.

The Championship is open to anyone in SUF. 

I did have 2+ events but this was the first year and I would just prefer to have people join, have fun and fish while raising a little money for the kids 

That is what I LOVE about this sport/game/hobby/addiction - There is always more to learn and grow. Thanks for sharing. We had a pretty dramatic overnight lows the past week or two. This weekend I learned that the bait fish have moved very quickly from 10-15 into shallows and now into 20ft+ in the span of a week or two. I think they are likley to stay out deeper until turnover and then scatter but congregate into the deeper winter cover. What have others learned recently?
