Jig was only a minor player in practice. Finesse was the ticket.

Practice was okay. The wind was horrible, at 15-40+ MPH! I slammed into a wave, and now my console moves a little bit more than it did before this trip. I will have to check it out when I get home. Of course, the weather tomorrow is entirely different—gorgeous, starting at 57 degrees and going to 82 degrees, with wind at 3-10 MPH. I have several spots lined up, starting with a 15-mile run. Treble in the hand is never good, and it immediately makes you very aware of where those hooks are in future catches, at least it did for me.

For me, those are the days when you sometimes learn the most. I want those days in practice. Then I know where and what not to do.

More importantly - Have Fun! Learn a little more about bass fishing and these online tournaments are a blast. It is my favorite tournament style because there is pressure and it is more than one day so you will find a day that suits your style.
