Repeatedly, trying, backlashing, getting it right a few times, learning what works and repeating it, then a few more backlashes. Respool, do it again with a few less backlashes. Ha Ha LOL

What do you use when bed fishing? Lure and techniques.

Brian Latimer I am very interested in this topic

For me, I do. It is moderately successful for me in summer up in NE. Try it this summer. During spawn it seems they have one thing on their minds.

Good luck! Bring back pictures, videos and lessons learned. Most importantly enjoy and make memories. Watch out for tornadoes.

I have a GoPro on a yolotek mount that runs all day. I do a quick run thru it and watch the video of when I caught fish. This helps because my memory of what I was doing is usually different than reality. For example, when I caught a ~4 lb smallie on SlingBladz spinner bait I thought I was steady retrieving, in fact it was when I speed up retrieval that that smallie hit.

Yes, FINALLY warming up. The tournament was OK for me. I did not place and I had a GREAT day fishing. Life is good if I get out fishing in my bass boat! I found a bunch of little ones and only one decent one. The smallies made beds sometime between yesterday and mid-morning today. We had 3 Falcon bass boats in our tournament, and I had a Falcon hat. ;-)

I would take that too (change those 200HP to 350R) and a fully loading Ikon bass boat.

Up in the NE it is finally warming the water up and moving those bass out of their winter hiding spots.
