I like cork because it is light, lasts a long time, especially with Cork Sealer applied to it, and is generally a bit more sensitive, EVA is comfortable but is a bit less sensitive. Bluegill SlingBladez with a minnnner -- Yeah Baby!!! That cork handled 7' MH Fast is a nice rod. I like it. It seems similar to the Genesis.
