Thanks! I never had a great tournament but it ultimately boiled down to consistency, showing up, and catching some fish.

Two more tournaments in VT and NY and then a winter of catching up on video edits, social media posts, rod building, working and some sporadic fishing to try for another top 40 on the next SUF tournament. Then I need to get to work this winter. Next season is TBD. I will probably keep to the local tournaments unless I get lots of sponsors.

Today, I didn’t perform as well as I had hoped, but I did give a shoutout to our Straight Up Fishing school and Brian Latimer as I walked across the stage with my little bass. Overall, it was an incredible year of learning. I managed to catch at least one or more fish in every tournament. Although I had hoped for a better year, in retrospect, it was truly amazing to fish in all these new bodies of water, facing off against 80 to 120 other anglers and ended up in 18th Place in points for the northeast division. Thank you all for supporting Ken and I. I appreciate Brian Latimer and this community.

First day of Regionals. Day two tomorrow. It was my second day on the James River. I hope to figure something more out tomorrow. Last BFL of the year for me.

For me, I have a GoPro running at the back of the boat. When I lost fish I would go back and watch the video. I found that sometimes when they got off I noticed I was allowing the rod to straighten out either from me bending over and the rod no longer had a parabolic bend it it or The rod hit the windshield or other part of the boat which again allowed the rod to unload. Another thing I notice for me was I had the drag too tight and was horsing it, I basically pulled the hook out of his skin. Just a couple of things top of mind that I had to work on.
