I had a great day, except for the overwhelming pleasure boat traffic. I ended the day with 13 lbs 15.6 ounces (4th place), and a guy who owns one of the islands with houses on it told me that he was going to "make it so that I could never get back on this lake if he sees me near his dock again!"

Thanks!

Jig was only a minor player in practice. Finesse was the ticket.

Practice was okay. The wind was horrible, at 15-40+ MPH! I slammed into a wave, and now my console moves a little bit more than it did before this trip. I will have to check it out when I get home. Of course, the weather tomorrow is entirely different—gorgeous, starting at 57 degrees and going to 82 degrees, with wind at 3-10 MPH. I have several spots lined up, starting with a 15-mile run. I feel very confident there. I am looking forward to tomorrow. Good luck and have fun!!!! Pics of fish caught in practice.

BardeRodz Genesis + Jig + accurate casting = Good day on the water regardless of the bites.

Treble in the hand is never good, and it immediately makes you very aware of where those hooks are in future catches, at least it did for me.
