To be honest, I never really paid attention to how much light really affects color at different depths. This is due to me always using the same colors in certain situations. Adding this knowledge to my toolbox has been game changing the last couple years.

My go to color as of late: Blue Black flake around cypress trees.

Maine yellow perch look similar that green fire tiger….

Smith Mountain Lake is a place I’ve always wanted to fish. Its known for haresting a lot of the states Citation Largemouth Bass.

This year….yup I’m that one that didn’t pay attention lol. About 2 weeks for me in 2024.
