Henry Shepherd I’m in Anderson. It actually is on a boat that I was looking to buy however it looks like I found something much better a unicorn if you will. It’s a 97 Sea Nymph FM 146 it only has 10 hours on the water and has been inside of a garage it’s entire life. There are no scratches or marks my brother is on his way to get it now as long as it runs and pees properly. It has a Johnson 25 on it again the woman who has it says her husband never used after the first time he got it. What should I be concerned with on this motor as it has been sitting? Thank you for all your help Henry. Do they call you Henry or Hank?

No problems yet. Thinking about buying this motor and didn’t know anything about it. The reply you sent tells me everything I need to know. Thank you! “2 strokes are fairly easy to work on. “ I’m told it runs great. Are they reliable? I know of the mariner line just don’t know much more about them. Thank you for all your help. Where are you located? I’m in SC

I hope that helps a little.

I am not the expert by any means just barely starting to scratch the surface. Very intriguing to me.

The chart above breaks down Bass bites in %’s. In Anderson SouthCarolina. 0-25%,50%,75%,100%. This chart is showing that the majority of the day you have a better than 75% chance to catch Bass. I also track Bass Food. IE. Bream,Crappie,Perch. It’s interesting that the crappie start before the bass hours to a day or prior.

Solunar effects describe how the positions of the sun and moon influence bass activity, with peak feeding times theorized to occur during "major" and "minor" periods. These times, when the moon is directly overhead or underfoot (major) or rising or setting (minor), are believed to trigger feeding frenzies, which are often associated with the movement of baitfish and crustaceans. While many anglers find solunar theory useful, factors like weather can override these effects, so many suggest using it as just one tool among many to plan fishing trips.

Getting excited buddy!
