“She thinks we’re just fishin’.” 🎣❤️

My girl caught her very first bass today, and to say I’m proud would be a complete understatement. Watching the excitement she gets over fishies, right alongside her brother, makes my heart so happy.Fishing is something that was passed down to me from my dad, and now getting the opportunity to pass that same love and those traditions down to my kids is something I’ll never take for granted.These are the moments and memories I’ll cherish forever. There’s nothing better than watching your kids fall in love with something that means so much to you.Here’s to many more fish, muddy hands, early mornings, and memories together. 

Yesterday while getting everything tied up for this morning’s tournament, my son grabbed my rod and said

“Daddy!?”

“Yeah, buddy?”

“I fish like you and Papa and win some cha-ching?”

Fast forward to this morning… on that same rod, throwing an SMH Worm on an SMH Shaky Head, I stuck this 3.7-pound spot that earned a little “cha-ching.”I’d say my little man’s good luck rubbed off on me! 💙 Thanks for the good luck, buddy.
